We drove south from the hotel at Furnace Creek down to Badwater, the lowest point in the United States at 282 ft below sea level.
From there we drove back North stopping at Natural Bridge, the Artist's Palette loop, Red Rock Cathedral and Zabrinski Point.

Badwater Basin is the lowest point in North America at 282 ft below sea level.
There is a small spring that feeds a salt mud flat. We walked about a half mile out onto the flat, but it was really windy as you move away from the mountains.
